This paper describes the effort of designing an unconventional exhaust manifold for a marine gas turbine engine, with integrated passive ventilation port cooling engine housing. The study is part larger program to substitute propulsion turbines T22R defense frigate and make proper aerodynamic adaptations. system in question unique, sense that it uses momentum entrain outside air ventilate enclosure. In achieving this, RANS computation was used test various concepts dimensions system.
